A small cove accessed via the South West Coast Path from Chy Praze Farm.
Portheras Cove remains a safe haven for marine life and we ask that you do all that you can to keep it this way. Please take your rubbish home, clear up after your dogs and, always arrive at the Cove expecting to share it with our local wildlife.
By this we mean always keeping your distance and giving space to the animals and creatures you might find.
Please definitely making sure your dog is on a lead especially during seal pupping season (usually this starts around September). Seal pups are often left on the shoreline by their mothers to rest and recover. Getting too close may cause them to return to the water without their mother or the strength to survive.
