By Bus
Catching the bus to the Tin Coast is one of the most sustainable ways of getting here and around. Basking in the coastal views aboard the open top Atlantic Coaster is a day trip all of it's own.
Sit back and enjoy a journey through some of Cornwall's most rural villages, jaw-dropping countryside and spectacular coastline; easily missed when your eyes are glued to the road. And, once you step off at your stop you are only moments away from finding a footpath or immersing yourself into the buzz of local community life.
Local Bus Times and the BEST Journey Planner
Our local bus services are operated by ‘Transport for Cornwall’ who operate Route 7 and also ‘Cornwall by Kernow’ who operate Routes A3 (The Atlantic Coaster) and A17. Explore these routes using the map below.

The Atlantic Coaster
The Atlantic Coaster (Route A3) is an experience in itself. In warmer months an open top bus runs from Land's End to St Ives, through the Tin Coast. Jump on, make your way to the top deck and feast your senses on quite possibly some of the most exceptional views that West Cornwall has to offer.

By Train
With routine train services arriving into Penzance from as far afield as Glasgow and London and more locally from Plymouth and Truro you can reach the Tin Coast from Penzance by bus, taxi or even bike. After all, it's all part of the adventure.
By Car
On the Tin Coast our roads are narrow and windy. Take care, slow down, give cyclists, walkers and horse riders ample space and always expect the unexpected around every turn and bend. Better still plan for car free travel wherever possible.
