Tin Coast Partnership
The Partnerships aim is to see our local economy thrive in balance with our the local community and in a way that preserves and reveres our local heritage and culture, and protects our local landscape and natural environment so it can thrive in years to come.
Starting from a place of targeting those who are already visiting the area or planning to visit the area with the aim of encouraging them to stay longer, shop locally and ideally to arrive out of season, the Partnership meets as a Steering Group 4 times a year to review its Destination Management Plan objectives and includes representatives from:
- St Just Town Council
- Local residents
- Cornwall 365
- Cornish Mining Heritage
- Geevor Tin Mine
- CoaST One Planet Tourism
- Land’s End Accommodation Providers
- The National Trust
- Penwith Landscape Partnership (programme ended)
