More Details
‘A hidden gem on the most beautiful West Cornwall coast.’
Morvah Schoolhouse is a wonderful, welcoming gallery, cafe, arts & craft shop and venue showcasing beautiful work
by artists and makers in Cornwall.
Originally a chapel, built in 1744 and visited by Charles Wesley, the building was then used as a Sunday School for the children of Morvah. The building fell into dilapidation but in 1999 was converted into a hub for the local community, arts and events.
Located in the hamlet of Morvah, on the B3306 between St Just and St Ives, the centre is a showcase for artists and makers inspired by the wild and ancient landscapes of West Penwith.
Our friendly staff and volunteers are artists themselves and passionate about the local arts, nature and wildlife.
