More Details
Our redoubtable little, white-washed, granite cottage stands alone on the cliff top, below the South West Coastal Path, at Cape Cornwall. It overlooks the whole of Porthledden Bay with panoramic views of Cape Cornwall and The Brisons to the south, and Kenidjack Cliff Castle and the Kenidjack Valley to the north. Facing due west, it is enjoys the spectacle of breathtaking sunsets and the might of the Atlantic Ocean.
It was a Count House to the local mine and is the perfect retreat from modern life, free from wifi, TV and mobile reception. Our guests love reconnecting with family and friends and enjoying the rich local history, wild natural surroundings, coastal walks, rock pooling in the bay below, sundowners on ‘the bench’, star-gazing under dark skies and being lulled to sleep by the sound of the sea……
Wheal Call is located in a Designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, within the UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
