Discover a community bursting with arts and heritage; a place where cultural identity is revered, kept alive through generations of people knitted together by song, dance and celebration. A Cornish spirit that has withstood and will withstand the test of time, never forgotten, lost or destroyed.

This is just such an amazing place because yes, it might be isolated and bleak in the winter, and you can be freezing and battered by the wind, but the culture and those things that happen so often actually for such a tiny place...at the end of the world, at the edge of the world here in Cornwall, is just so special.

Isobel Bloomfield, local resident

A short film, recorded in the heart of St Just in the Plen-an-Gwari, created in conversation with Mary Ann & Isobel Bloomfield, James Breslin and Richard Francis. Additional footage from Barbara Santi.
